Ariminthea Rocker-Bloodworthis is an artist of incredible depth, versatility and talent. This self-taught artist started painting at an early age of five (5). The need to create anchored at her core and she dismissed any barriers that doesn’t allow her to create.
She the daughter of Rev. and Mrs. Samuel William Rocker. She is the sixth child of twelve siblings born to this Southern Baptist preacher on April 10th, in Atlanta, Georgia. She is married to Harvey Bloodworth and together they have three daughters: Abeni, Acasi and Kemba. She Attended John Wesley Dobbs Elementary School, Luther J. Price High School, Atlanta Business College, graduated from Atlanta College of Arts and received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Savannah College of Art and Designs (SCAD). Ariminthea creatively suffer with “SERD” a Soulful Emotional Response Disorder. She is coerced to initiate line, institute value, constitute color, inaugurate shape, launch space, develop texture and form in all her works. Her visions and spontaneous creative renders the process of an array of things that are unforeseen. It endlessly invent and chooses her subjects, and support her heritage dignity, gives clarity to her tangible testimony of the invisible power, whose immovable divine presence redeems in her an indomitable need to continue to create. Than by studied design.
